Vendoko (“we”, “us”) provides a private ordering platform for wholesale buyers and sellers, available at vendoko.com and app.vendoko.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We've written it to be read, not skimmed past.
The short version
- We collect what's needed to run an ordering platform: your account details, your business profile, your catalog and your orders.
- Your data is hosted on servers in the European Union.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your trade information with anyone you haven't connected with.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
What we collect
Account information. Name, email address, password (stored only in encrypted form), phone number, and business details you provide — such as business name, type, address and VAT number.
Trade data. The catalogs, products, prices, orders, connections and messages you create while using Vendoko. This data belongs to your trade — we process it only to provide the service.
Technical data. Basic logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable, such as IP addresses and timestamps of requests.
This website (vendoko.com) itself uses no analytics trackers and no advertising cookies. The app (app.vendoko.com) uses only the cookies required to keep you signed in securely.
What we use it for
- Providing the service: showing catalogs to connected buyers, delivering orders to sellers, sending notifications you've enabled.
- Security: preventing abuse, keeping accounts safe.
- Support: answering you when you contact us.
- Service emails: things like order notifications and, for sellers, an optional weekly summary — each configurable in your settings.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who can see your trade data
Vendoko is private by design. Your catalog, prices and orders are visible only to the trade partners you have explicitly connected with. When a connection is removed, access ends immediately. There is no public marketplace or directory.
Where your data lives
Vendoko is hosted on servers located in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere). We use a small number of service providers to operate the platform — for hosting and for sending transactional email — under agreements consistent with EU data-protection law (GDPR).
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account, so your order history stays useful to you. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, keeping only what we're legally required to retain (for example, records needed for accounting) — and orders remain visible to the counterparty who was part of them, as they are part of that business's records too.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and you can object to certain processing. Email [email protected] and we'll respond promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you inside the app or by email before it takes effect — not bury it in a footer.
